Dozens of protesters took their fight for racial equality in policing to the heart of Charlotte's power structure on Monday, demanding the resignations of the mayor, police chief, and lawmakers in the wake of the police slaying of a black man.
Residents and activists, many of whom have participated in street demonstrations every day since the death of Keith Scott on Tuesday, spoke at a packed city council meeting of frustrations with racial discrimination in the North Carolina city of about 792,800 residents.
Many speakers said city officials were responsible for ensuring police officers treat everyone fairly, and called on Mayor Jennifer Roberts, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Oikuce Chief Kerr Putney, and members of the city council to resign.
"If you can't do your job, let's find someone who can," said Darcel Chandler, an attorney.
"We can't choose who we want the laws to apply to."

I’m white, and I know darn well that if I was brandishing a gun and refusing to obey police orders that the cops would just stand there until I got tuckered out and then buy me a steak dinner and slip a few hundred dollar bills in my pocket.
But that's not the concern of these professional agitators. They're going to do what Soros is paying them to do regardless.

The overwhelming majority of Americans would have NO PROBLEM with the cops turning the fire hoses on these looters/arsonists, however, the powers that be have become CONVINCED that them media narrative is the truth and are deathly afraid of being called “racist” by a handful of people while the silent majority go to work and seethe at this madness.

I keep reading that O’Bummer has a ninety percent approval rating among blacks.
I don’t believe those numbers anymore; I work with blacks that are nanny-state liberals and they took down the Obama pictures years ago. They are a miserable lot, and openly gripe as the black segment of our workforce is replaced by Hispanics. The “black wall of silence” prevents them from breaking plantation ranks and openly criticizing him, but they really miss George W. Bush (who they openly disliked).
So, that “hope ‘n change” didn’t work out too well for them either?
No; they’re very sad, and act as though a wealthy white homosexual has been in the White House for the past 8 years.
