I agree with your comment. It added another layer to the familiar “You don’t know what you don’t know.”

“They were not planning to endorse him because they thought Hillary had it in the bag.”

I just don't believe this. As I posted earlier, fraud and the media make it dangerous to assume Trump will win (although, of course, he should win). Secondly, does anybody really believe RUMSFELD plans on having anything to do with HRC even if she should win?! Rummy doesn't care a whit about her.

Freepers, this is going to be a very close election because we are fighting the forces of evil. The richest, most powerful people all over the world are conspiring against Trump. We cannot afford to adopt the attitude that it-is-inevitable-Trump-will-win. We should be optimistic, of course, but we should not dismiss endorsements such as these as evidence these folks are just hopping aboard because they think Trump is cruising to victory. Remember, the meme is that “Trump lost the debate”, and the real polls aren't out yet. I think these people know what is at stake and are doing what they can to help Trump win. Let's cheer them for joining us — just as Trump tweeted something gracious and upbeat when Cruz endorsed him last week.

Yeah. Watch those ‘sudden buddies’ that surface when it’s seen that you’ll win...

A signal detection analysis of human behavior, also known as the cognitive unknown. That statement by Rummy really impressed me.

I remember hearing it live, he was explaining to the sophomoric press corps how strategic decisions must be made in war. Rumsfeld has now been proven correct a thousand times.

If Cheney and Rumsfeld could have somehow been in charge, we would have no terrorist attacks on our soil today, IS would not exist, and the civilized world would not be invaded by muslim “refugees.”

Thanks. I knew both Bush’s haven’t and won’t support Trump, I was just wondering how they threw Rummy under the bus.

Not a tell-all book writer amongst them, I presume.

"If you are not criticized, you may not be doing much."

So declares former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in his book 'KNOWN AND UNKNOWN'.

# Rumsfeld warned in 2001 of Afghan “swamp” and “not to make a career out of transforming Afghanistan;” parts ways with neocons on use of military to spread democracy around the world

# Lashes out at Clinton, Kerry, Biden for flip-flops on Iraq: “You wouldn’t want to be in a foxhole with them.”

# Disputes Powell’s claim that he was “duped” by administration on Iraq WMD, says Powell was no Bush administration “maverick”

# Bashes CNN for concealing Saddam's crimes against humanity prior to start of war

# Document: Rumsfeld pressed for more troops in Tora Bora to get bin Laden in 2001

# Says biggest regret not insisting on resigning after Abu Ghraib

# Says McCain had “hair-trigger temper” and “a propensity to shift his positions to appeal to the media”

# Shares his side of a decades long feud with Bush 41

# Aide tells Rumsfeld on 9/11: “You’re a son of a bitch.” Lives to tell the tale

# Had young Geraldo Rivera arrested in 1970s student protest, when he was known as Jerry Rivers

# Describes surprising encounter with Elvis in The King’s Las Vegas dressing room

# Recounts weird meetings with a confused President-elect Jimmy Carter

# Kissinger during last days of Watergate: “Rummy, we don’t even argue with Nixon anymore”

“One of the most incredibly intelligent statements anyone has ever made.”

Please tell me you are kidding. All he said was “There are things we know, things we don’t. And things that we are simply not aware of needing to know.”

God that’s really deep. This is Jefferson and Madison stuff. “One of the most intelligent statements ever made”.... lol.

Donald Rumsfeld is a patriot. I haven’t heard much from John Ashcroft since he was AG under GWB.

Uh,,, Cheney and Rumsfeld WERE in charge. And those two booger eating morons got us, is into a war that has wrecked the middle east, has lasted nearly 4 times as long as our involvement in WWII with no signs of ending, and has cost around 6 trillion. our national debt is about 18 trillion.

that’s a real brain trust.
