Endorsements may not move the needle with most voters, even when A-listers like Ted Cruz make them. When it comes to John H. Sununu, former governor of New Hampshire and one-time RNC chair, it would normally matter less, except for his ties to the Bush family, who haven’t exactly tripped over themselves to support Donald Trump. Like Cruz, Sununu didn’t hold back his criticism of the Republican nominee, at least until today. The morning after the debate, the Trump campaign released this statement from George H. W. Bush’s former chief of staff:
“Donald Trump is the only candidate in this race who can bring bold change to Washington D.C. I support the Trump-Pence ticket for their pro-growth agenda and commitment to protecting American interests. Republicans, Independents and smart Democrats need to come together to elect Donald Trump and Mike Pence.”

Quayle, Cheney, and Rumsfeld have all broken with GHWB on the latter’s backing of Mrs. Bill.

His son is currently running for governor of New Hampshire....he wants to keep the peace with Trump voters. BTW his son is about 6 points up on the democrat.
I really hope Pence doesnt turn into another 30 year mistake, where again we have to fight the establishment for another 30 years.

Forget Sununu. Think of it as an indicator of how some people will look at this election and vote.
the bush family was a Trojan horse in the republican party...they systematically destroyed the Reagan revolution. could you imagine how different today would be if we had some one like Pat Buchanan as president after Regan.
Maybe Sununu can get off his fat butt and help push NH into the Trump Camp.
I sure hope he doesn’t want to help with the Supreme Court!
That’s an endorsement Donald didn’t need. But almost nobody will notice so it won’t hurt him much
