During the September 26 presidential debate Hillary Clinton said America has a gun epidemic and called for background checks to fix it.
She also called for adding the terror watch list to background checks in hopes of keeping guns out of the hands of terrorists.

You can consider Stop and Frisk a background check for illegal weapons on gang bangers.
The left never even tries to take guns from the hands of violent criminals. Only from honest, non-violent people.
She started to say “Gun Control” then stopped herself and said “Gun Safety”.
Someone should ask Hillary if she thinks it would be a good idea to have a Suspected Illegal Gun Owner Watch List and see what kind of answer she sputters out about that.
All the deplorables will be on the various “lists”. How convenient that hate speech will be defined as any speech that is against hitlery.
I wish Trump would have asked her about her “fun” camps.
The Orlando shooter passed his background check
Funny thing, every gun I’ve ever bought I was thoroughly background checked, to the point of having to come back days later to get the firearm I’d already bought.
As for the no-fly list, I aheee you shouldn’t be buying firearms...and that FZiRSat there must be a way of finding out that you’re in the list, who is accusing you of doing something to BE on the list, and guving you an opportunity to get OFF the list.
And for reasons passing comprehension, democrats are wildly opposed to this. It sure seems simple, and, ya know, constitutional.
There’s that goddamned constitution, gumming up the works again.
It was hard to let her call for gun control restricting long weapons and not have him answer that but I understand. He, at least on that occasion, did not take the bait and fall for the distraction.
Not one mention on who is pulling the trigger. The number one killer of young black men is not guns. It’s other young black men.
Tucker Carlson sadi it best. If you can’t get on a plane. (Can’t buy a gun) what the hell are you doing living next door!
There’s no “background check loophole” at gun shows and utilizing that term serves the left.
I wonder how Hillary would feel about letting the NRA handle background checks?
Because her people don’t seem to have issues with the Muslim Brotherhood affiliates helping with vetting refugees.
Then you agree with stripping people of their Constitutionally protected right without due process.
You can see every name on the TSA No-Fly List here.
FWIW the No-Fly List is not the same thing as the terrorist watch list.
I wonder if this is an end around — flood the country with terrorists so that after a few repeat attacks like 9/11 foolish Americans will be demanding that the Democrats do something, anything, and the Democrats will be more than happy to offer Gun Control... for our “own safety.:
And once they control all of the guns and make them all illegal, there are no more threats to their authoritarian rule.
Gun control is only about punishing gun owners. Period. No one on the left ever looks back at a gun law to determine if it’s making a difference. The only conversation involves passing more and more gun laws that will only impact honest gun owners.
Most of the guns I've ever bought involved no background check at all. Prior to about 1995 one could purchase, trade, or sell guns at flea markets in my area and no one seemed to care.
Funny thing about that is: We didn't have much of a problem with crime, even though guns could be purchased without ever presenting any ID of any kind.(The FBI cracked down on this because Timothy McVeigh financed his fuel oil/fertilizer purchases by selling stolen guns at gun shows)
I've also bought various guns at yard sales and such. Right now, of course there are far more buyers than sellers, used guns have been commanding high prices for the entire Obama administration. With the record numbers of new firearms sold over the last 8 years, a Trump presidency could bring about a buyers market for used guns. I'd like that (and some .22 ammo on the shelves at Wal-mart).
