ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST DEBATE BETWEEN
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Donald John Trump
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY
9 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
Exactly. Good memory! I couldn’t find a pic. What did you think of the debate?
Asked Trump 6 follow-up questions, did not ask ANY of Clinton... Interrupted Trump 41 times, Clinton 7... Drudge

Fact-checking becomes opinion journalism...
TRUMP fended off two flaming liberals and came out on top. TRUMP was in NEW YORK JUNK DOG mode. Hes a real fighter and got the facts out while doing it.
Oh yeah Lester Holt is a Repubican, right. He’s a chicken youknowwhat. He didn’t want his friends in the LSM to “Lauer” him. that would be too haarrrrdddd.
Personally, I think Holt was a Master Debater.
Thank you
I kept hearing “Trump was disappointing in the debate.” Okay, agree. But what do debating skills have to do with being an effective president?
The country is tired of professional politicians who debate “real good.” We need real people whose real life experiences are in the real world of business, commerce and trade the real world of real people, not these politicians who only know politics, and giving the business to WE THE PEOPLE in smokey back rooms of Washington DC.
We’re not here to pick a debater. We’re interested in people who inhabit our world and have good judgment. Donald Trump has that, Hillary doesn’t (just list all her failings in policy, in sos performance, in incompetency and corruption here).
Trump thrashed her in the debate. His performance was flawless.
Perhaps before you accuse me of being a Cruz supporter, you might want to check my posting history.
My statement that Hillary is a polished politician and Trump is no, is ACTUALLY A COMPLIMENT TO TRUMP.
She appeared polished a robotic. America has had enough of “polished politicians.”

...not even you...
There are two economic realities in America today. There's been a record six straight years of job growth, and new census numbers show incomes have increased at a record rate after years of stagnation.
Totally unnecessary and misleading editorial comment.
Mr. Trump, for five years, you perpetuated a false claim that the nation's first black president was not a natural-born citizen. You questioned his legitimacy. In the last couple of weeks, you acknowledged what most Americans have accepted for years: The president was born in the United States. Can you tell us what took you so long?
As if that is important. This line of question is meant to stoke racial animus and divert attention from policy issues.
Thanks for providing the full comment, which I recognize in its context. It was made in april 2016 and NOT in reference to Trump’s debate performance, as implied by the original poster.
It was a comment slamming Cruz’s dismal press conference announcing his VP choice.
To be fair, he probably sees the entire universe through a race filter, 24/7/386.241
Whenever Holt would intervene on her behalf, she stood there with that gotcha smile that reminded me of one of those weird puppets with the pinched face and high cheekbones.
For his part, Trump was having none of it and I’m proud of him for it. If they don’t play by their own rules, why should he?
Is that a pile of notes on her lectern?
