WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) Hillary Clinton has appeared in more than 30 primary debates during her two presidential campaigns, a deep history she can draw upon as she faces Donald Trump on Monday night.
Clinton has been through the debate gauntlet in two New York Senate campaigns as well as in presidential primary match-ups against then-Sen. Barack Obama in 2008, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders this year and other challengers.
Here's a look at some key moments of Clinton's past debates that could influence her performance against Trump:

BULLYING CAN BACKFIRE
Clinton's first 2000 Senate debate with Republican rival Rick Lazio, then New York congressman, shows what could go wrong for Trump if he tries to bully her.

Expectations are through the floor for Hillary. If she manages to make it through the debate without collapsing and remains modestly cogent, it will be treated as a win. Trump should tread carefully as far as overt attacks directed specifically at her to avoid creating a sympathy vote. Stick to his themes, speak directly to the voting public. Differentiate himself from failed Democrat policies and goals. Tie Democrats to increasing economic and social problems. Speak to optimism about America and Americans and how we, together with him, can fix that.
You’d make a GREAT standup straight man.....
Stupid headline.
He needs to watch his tongue. She needs to watch her blood pressure.
Yeah. Basically ignore her.
That’s the hypocrisy of the left. They all love to say how Hillary is tough, but the minute you question her in a tough manner they cry sexism and accuse that person of bullying her because she’s a woman. Enough already. I don’t want a leader whose first business as president is to pay off IOUs to foreign leaders and despots who she owes favors to including national security and sensitive trade secrets. If she can’t handle Trump in a debate then you know Hillary would be reduced to a rain puddle when tangling with the likes of Putin.
Feminazis are always telling us how woman are just as tough as men, except when it doesn’t suite them.
Normally, yes, but this will be one of the most watched television events of all time. The disgust of Clinton is real; the disgust of Trump is a media-manufactured phenomenon. All Trump has to do is stay calm and act presidential and this one debate will tip the scales. After that he can coast, which is ironic, considering that's what Clinton tried to do all along.
If she gets personal, then the door is opened. But, it needs to be factually rebutted, not specifically personal in return. If her role at the State Department comes up, speak about actions during her tenure. If the Clinton Foundation comes up, speak about the misdeeds of the foundation. Create no opportunity for “poor Hillary” to pull the vajayjay card.
I'm afraid your reply has arrived too late.
So the Googly Eye stuff is out?
If it happens it’s there for viewers to see.
I have a strong feeling that the talk with Sushi could lead to some very surprising allegations about Hillary’s meddling in Egypt. No one will see it coming.
If it does would it be oaky for Trump to react?
She probably has only on years experience, 30 TIMES.
A debate history that never had to deal with Benghazi, deleted emails or the skanky Clinton Foundation........
A pause and a wince would suffice.
I have a strong feeling that the talk with Sisi could lead to some very surprising allegations about Hillarys meddling in Egypt. No one will see it coming.
