Thats exactly what great Russian leaders do. Russia doesn’t have a history of nice leaders.
While what you address is true as far as it goes, I don’t consider a leader that can’t leave when his terms are up, to be a great man.
He is a little self-centered selfish man.
The guy has been in power for sixteen years, and he’s still looking for a legacy accomplishment.
His militaristic moves have proven that point.
