2016 has seen nothing short of an assault on the movement for justice, liberation and self-determination. But it has also been an incredible year of struggle, where the most militant people have risen up to say no more to exploitation, violence and repression, all facilitated by capitalism.
The conference will come only days after the presidential elections. Working and oppressed people will, without a doubt, be disappointed by the results. But where will we go from there? How will we channel our righteous rage and frustration into action? These are the questions we will take up as we honor the brave young people, communities and organizers who have confronted power and are claiming the future.

It’s not all bad news for socialists - they won Venezuela and they continue strong in North Korea.
So, the communists schedule their convention a few days AFTER Hillary’s assumed coronation event, eh?
Maybe doing before the election would have cost Hillary some votes.
They absolutely never stop - they never take no for an answer. It’s like metastasized cancer. Elections mean nothing to them.
When the Soviet Union fell, I thought great, freedom and capitalism won, communism is vanquished.
Instead what happened? In a few years they infiltrated every single institution - governmental and social. Government agencies, private foundations, the media, entertainment, schools, think thanks, sports, the military, the family...and now they are about to conquer the last traditionally conservative institution left standing - the churches.
We conservatives have been extremely poor at eternal vigilance.
They’re liable to start catching some lead in the future if they keep pushing,a lot people have about had it with these slime.

Why not have the party meeting in North Korea?? Or Cuba..
