I knew it would come.
This may help Trump, but Im not sure it helps Cruz...
Cruz needs the support of Trumpers in the future. His hardcore types will stay on the plantation. Where else are they going to go? But he sure left the Never Trumpers HIGH and dry today. LOL.
Yes it is, I wish more people on FR would understand that Trump is going to need Ted in the countless battles to come.
The GOPe is going to be pulling out all stops to disrupt Trump's attempts to break up the Washington cartel and Cruz will be instrumental in defeating them.
"We can not spare this man, he fights."
Good for Cruz, I think most of his followers like myself was going to vote Trump anyhow. Now that he is on board that just makes Trump stronger
NRO was never a fan of Cruz. This will really isolate the Romney/Bush never Trump progressive wing of the GOP.
I agree with the Senator on all of his reasons he enumerated but, above all, #NeverHillary.
the more Tead talks about having to pray about it, think about it, spend sleepless nights over it, stare at sunsets, remember his old aunt Nagness, talk to the dog about it, listen to guys in the barber shop about it, lift his damp finger into the wind about it...
...the more I realize how mentally deficient this guy really is
It’s a no brainer. Trump has a list of things we have wanted for decades, and Hillary has a list of things we have not wanted in our or anyone else lifetime.
It took me a matter of days to fall in behind Trump.
It took Tead close to a year and a half.
Well Tead, thanks a lot pumpkin.
“Someone needs to check on Glenn Beck...”
He’s already waffling. I hope Free Republic sees through his schtick now. He’s a fraud of the highest order.
I can certainly forgive Levin, but Beck is a twit ... I expect him to take a stab at being a “genuine” liberal political commentator on the radio should Trump win.
As for Cruz, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. I think his ego and overall conservatism would make him a great judge on the Supreme Court, but, like others on FR, I have *many* reservations when it comes to being enthused about the man after what he did during the election.
I understand the desire to win and can live with a couple of mistakes here and there, but he went overboard. His partnering with that fraud Beck and Beck’s senseless, ridiculous comparisons of Trump to Hitler helped solidify my support of Trump.
I’ll take it, but I see that he still can’t say Trump’s name.
Good point. I wonder if Levin will change his tune, and Rush will be more obvious in his support now that their “ideal conservative” has endorsed Trump.
Woops. sorry, he did say Trump’s name.
You and I are on the same page.
To answer your question; yes. More than a few Evangelical Christians.
NRO and FNC will be the last holdouts. I can imagine Brit Hume, Will, Rove and the Kraut looking like Cronkite, Rather and his other leftist on election night 1980 when the returns started coming in.
Hannity is a like listening to a political radio Disney. Cruz clearly demonstrated his character well during the primaries. He’s not suited for any position in regards to decision making or judgement calls.
I don’t see anything in what Cruz stated as “new” that he couldn’t have done this at Convention. Everything he wrote about Hillary we already knew and so did he...everything Trump has stated had already been stated as well...so what changed?
I believe it took this much time for Ted to get over his loss and whatever he and Trump had going on between them......it shoud’nt have.
On the other hand Trump showed Ted he really didn’t need him to get the win having gone this far to the finish line under his own steam....so good on Trump!
Why?
Oh, okay... I know why. But can we just not?
I tend to think that Trump wants Ted at the table despite their past differences in the election.....he’s got a lot of “the goods” Trump can use now as he heads toward the finish line.
It sure takes Ted Cruz a long time to keep his word.
Donald Trump has been saying the very same things that Cruz has been wanting since the beginning of his campaign, but Cruz refused to believe Trump was telling the truth, calling him a, “con man,” “a pathological liar,” “a sniveling coward,” and “a danger to this country.”
I’ve got no use for Ted Cruz, I think he’s just trying to save his political hide, because the RNC has said to get on board or else.
