There was a brief window of time early this year when I thought a Trump-Cruz ticket would be a formidable one. That disappeared once Cruz began losing and going off the rails.
I had been a strong supporter of Cruz until his spoiled brat routine at the convention. I was very disappointed that Cruz had flubbed his chance at the Supreme Court where he would have been a dynamic defender of the constitution. I think the endorsement helps. I also think Trump is a bigger man than Cruz and perhaps might nominate Cruz after all.
On the court Cruz’s “winning personality” won’t be a detriment.
