In twenty years (If Germany last that long) the old German folk will be beaten and openly beheaded in their own streets..

There will be more German heritage here in Cincinnati, Ohio than in the country itself.

Before WWII Cincinnati had court in German half the time and two German language newspapers.

Everything was wiped out for WWII but is now coming back.

Over-the Rhine is our most popular neighborhood.

And I predict they will obliterate every trace of western culture, just like ISIS and the Taliban have done.

Disease and famine...back into the dark ages...

Why just Western Europe?

Do you believe the US is somehow immune to this?

It isn’t, it’s going exactly the same way.

In another context, progressives would be in a predictable uproar to protect the “indigenous tribes” and their “sacred grounds” from the evil influences of western exploration and development.

In the case of Europe and to a lesser extent, the US, progressives are in an uproar because the indigenous tribes are resisting having their culture and their lives threatened by the hordes of Muslims that progressives insist they must allow and even pay for.

It is almost as if progressives are hell-bent on destroying civilized western society, as if they prefer the chaos of other cultures, as if humanity must be improved by such immigration madness.

In another story on FR. I see that 40% of children under five in Germany have parents who are foreign born. Why is this a good thing?

“Nearly 40 Per Cent of Under Fives Now ‘Migrant Background”

Everybody here is missing the point. The problem isn’t immigration, per se. The problem is the TYPE of immigration they are allowing.

If Germany were accepting millions of Swedish or Icelandic immigrants. do you think there would be a problem?

The problem is MUSLIM immigration!

Merkel has demanded all the large Germany companies hire refugees. It was mentioned Siemens and the German car manufacturers. This should destroy the reputation of German cars even before the demographic time bomb explodes.

Germany, the German people, the culture, the language, et al., are all history. I'm not that old but I can recall a mathematical logic professor of mine back in in the 90's going through a derivation say, as he introduced the more thorough but complex derivation, "Now, let us do it the Germanic way." We all knew what he meant. Similarly in a graduate history course a professor was referencing some additional works and humorously pointed out that an English historian had written a one-volume "The Complete History of..." while the German scholar wrote an eight-volume work titled "The Handbook of..." Again, we all knew what he meant.

Over the past three years, I’ve seen three separate studies (German statistical office, private economic foundation, and some university study). They all say basically the same thing for Germany. Population of today is 81-million. In twenty years, unless something changes....the population will be 65 to 68 million. Even if they take 250,000 a year (the normal average for each year over the past 20 years)...it doesn’t change anything much.

So this idea of 450,000 to 1,000,000? Yearly? Three or four years out of the next ten? It might slow down the population spiral some but it’ll still be less than 80 million in 20 years.

The chief issues for this spiral? It goes to women who want a career, a high cost of living, high taxation, urbanization, and increasing housing cost. I won’t ID socialism as the sole issue in this because of the various ways that the economy is built.

I live in Germany, so I can speak to this whole fundamental problem.

Germany and the rest of europe has to do five things to ensure their future:
1) ban abortion for non urgent health or criminal reasons.
2) ban all immigration from the middle east or africa.
3) ban gay marriage, its effects are polluting society.
4) cut social programs for only the most needy citizens.
5) encourage a savings over consumption economy.

My Palatine German ancestors were from Oberstein and Rohrbach...about 15 miles apart..

I had planned to visit both towns sometimes but the sight of those young military fit moslems marching up through Germany last year changed my mind for me..

My ancestors were farmers and left Germany for England because of the years of droughts not because of war or politics..

My many greats granddad planned to return some day and wanted his children to marry other Lutheran Germans so they would go too...

He was however appreciative and loyal to the monarch who sent his family to America and in 1711 he fought in one of Queen Anne’s several French and Indian wars just one year after arriving in Albany, NY...

Rohrback is out there in the Hunsruck....a fairly rural section of Germany. Other than an occasional Turk running an imbis stand...you just won’t find too many Muslims in this region. I wouldn’t deny myself a visit in that region....100-percent safe. Although I wouldn’t go in the winter....harsh area with snow and ice. Just 20 miles away from the Rhine Valley area and that’s all safe as well. The “Pfalz” is a decent tourist region, without all the glitter of Bavaria or hyped up tourism like you see in Munich.

Yeah, there’s just something about the Germans - really detail-oriented, really thorough. They take pleasure in thoroughly thinking through completely and it shows in their best works.
