You’re welcome. Seems like I am on my soap box more than not for the last several years. One of the bad things about contacting their DC office is you never get to talk to your rep, just a staffer who keeps a tally sheet with two columns on their paper. One is labeled “For” and one is labeled “Against”. Responses to comments you send them via the web are responded to with a canned response.
That is one of the reasons I contact their local offices in the state where I know many of the staffers. Our DC rep knows he is going to get a lot of grief when he attends a local meeting- although he rarely shows up any more.
No one in our family has voted for our Rep for the last three elections. He has run unopposed and keep hoping that the drop in the number of people voting for him versus the total number voting would cause him some concern or not.... We just do what we can do and pray a lot!
