Today was pretty laid back except for two calls to say they only got paid for 1 week. I told them I only had one week and they would have to talk to their supervisors. Turns out timesheets weren’t turned in on time. They have to wait til next payday. One is habitually late.

And another call was their check didn’t get there. Have you thought about Direct Deposit? If you get a check and it doesn’t get there, you have to wait til the following Wednesday after mail delivery. Then we put a stop pay on it and reissue the following afternoon. Get Direct Deposit!! I hate voiding and reissuing checks.

She chose to stay in bed today, and get out and roam after I got home. Hurrah!

Saturday morning started at 6:15a with her falling out of bed. *sigh* So I would prefer that she stay put until I’m here, so I didn’t anything hoping she’d come to the same conclusion.

Did you make it to your first destination all in one day? That sitting can be a real problem.

I guess considering the way they have y’all doing things now, getting only two calls isn’t too bad. Still would be nice if they hadn’t changed the schedule around the way they did. Makes it really tough on y’all every other week.

Did your brother make it up there today? How long will he be in Anchorage. Just wondering if he’d have any time to pop by to visit since it’s been a while.

Haven’t heard from him today. He said he’d be by sometime this week so figure we’ll get the scoop then.

The one thing he is expecting is 6 weeks on and 1 week off, and they pay for his hotel and car. The company shutdown when the oil prices tanked, so it’s possible that he would be several weeks in town as they decide about gearing back up....who, what, when, where, and how. He probably learned a lot of that today. We will see.

Hooboy. Kind of a hurry-up-and-wait scenario at present then, isn’t it? “Get up here now for a meeting, then wait while we figure out what we’re going to do.” What a mess. Hope he doesn’t have to wait too long to get started.

Well, I don’t know what the other shows about it came up with but the CBS investigative bunch seem to think the brother did it in a fit of anger. Didn’t mean to kill her but hit her too hard on the head with a heavy flashlight.

They seemed to do a pretty thorough job of investigating and there were a few things they came up with that hadn’t been brought up before. It does look like it was the brother, and John and Patsy covered up.

My little student is a 5 year old boy...and hyperactive. I know that he is musical but the discipline required to study an instrument is not really there just yet. Oh well. I keep trying.

Yes, it’s best she stay put if possible while you are gone or she might get into “trouble” and you wouldn’t know about it till much later. Does she have a “panic” button around her neck for emergencies? I know you worry about her all day long anyway.

We did make it to OKC in one day. It’s ONLY 7 hours....looooooong, boring hours if you’re alone, which thankfully I wasn’t yesterday. LOL! Tomorrow we’ll finish the drive..about 7 more hours to our destination in MO. That’s why I might let hubby do most of that drive. I’m done with driving for a while. LOL!
