Well even faster went the time from when you said you wanted to know everything about it, from the time you said totally good shoot.
Did you really not mean the earlier statement at all?
You are correct, but.
What is wrong with this dumbass cop.
You feel threatened a little with a passel of your compadres around,
Shoot the guy in the foot, knee, but kill him?
In this troubled time when everyone has their spotlight on this kind of crap.
So as to make a racial incident?
Come on coppers.
So what was in the car? Was there something dangerous actually there? If we’re going to look at things that extenuate one side, surely we are going to look at things that extenuate the other.
If you can open a car door and get seated in one second, I want to see the video. Why don’t you just say he could float through the metal and glass in one second by molecular displacement. As you can see, at the 20 second mark, he’s standing against the car in a standard frisk position (appears to be an experienced criminal). By the 24 second mark, he’s rotated toward them, but is still standing against the door. At 26, he’s rotating back toward the car and moving his right hand back up. Still against the door. At 28, the chopper pilot uses the car and tree to block the camera. By 30 seconds, he’s falling.
You claim that in one second, he could move back and to the right far enough for the door to clear him, open the door, enter the car, and either grab something or drive off? I’d love to have you on the stand as an expert on cross.
RULE #1.....When a cop tells you to stop....STOP, RULE #2....when a cop tells you to raise or show your hands, DO IT. IF YOU DON’T FOLLOW HIS/HER INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER, YOU MIGHT BE INJURED OR KILLED.....THAT’S THE WAY THE SYSTEM WORKS.
If you can open a car door and get seated in one second, I want to see the video.
Come on, it can be done extremely quickly. Maybe a bit over a second, like 1.5s. How long to swing open the door and jump in? Not long at all.
Get real.
I don’t know about good shot. These folks never seem to consider over shot. There is a vehicle directly in the line of fire beyond the suspect. I guess you can be reckless like Team America but I wouldn’t call this safe.
Probably not. Figured I'd play it safe and stay neutral than say what I thought and have some Freeper jump down my throat.
What would you suggest? Allowing the suspect to regain entry into a vehicle? What if he fled and took hostages at another location, or ran a red and killed some family? They can’t allow the suspect to reenter that vehicle for a multitude of real good reasons.
.
Can’t see last few seconds.
Was he reaching in the vehicle?
If so, then good shoot.

Might be overlaps/dupes.
Less than a second to react and shoot if he comes up with a firearm.
Can’t see what he was doing the last seconds, reaching into the vehicle? Dangerous and the wrong thing to do. Ignoring commands not to reach into vehicle?
Need facts, rather than sit at a computer and analyze every frame, look at the real-time event as it happened and if there was a threat. . .like reaching into the vehicle, and real-time needed to act/react.
Excellent point.
Suicide by Cop.
“Shoot the guy in the foot, knee, but kill him?”
Seriously, and without mocking, have you ever fired a handgun?
If you had, no matter the amount of time on the range, you would know just how wrong you are. “Dick Tracy” shooting is fantasy.
And final point, using a firearm is use of deadly force, not “wounding force” and shooting center-mass is the best way to hit the thug and stop the threat.
