It’s supposed to mean naturalized citizen of these United States, who came here from Afghanistan. How much of that is true, is anybody’s guess.
It means he’s got a green card, but he is not an American citizen as was reported earlier when the FBI identified him. We should waterboard him till he sings like a canary, but you can bet our long-legged _resident will be on hand with his lap dog, Loretta, to make sure that doesn’t happen.
It means that after he probably lied to get US citizenship he will now get all the protection the ACLU can muster. /s
