I think the MSM’s problem was calling the incident a bomb before it was known to be one (N.Y. has frequent nat. gas & transformer explosions for example and the area of the bomb was a construction site, possibility of a hazardous material explosion). I am sure Mr. Trump had some “inside information” since he is a long time N.Y. resident with connections. So he was “1st with most” information-wise & that ticked off the MSM. (CNN didn’t even break away from Obama speech coverage to report on the explosion!)
Those explosions are usually YUGE with building on fire.
But you’re absolutely right. To get the headlines first news stations speak too fast.
