I went to COSTCO this morning and the birther issue is all people were talking about. Standing in line for gas then pumping gas. That's all people were talking about. Then entering COSTCO the greeter asked me about the birther issue and not for my card. Inside the food samplers were talking to the lines of people getting food samples about the birther issue not about the food they were giving away. The stock boys asked me about the birther issue. Then checking out everyone was talking birther, birther, birther. The MSM is right the birther issue is aflame and sweep the country. Birther that all people want to talk about. Forget security, forget immigration, forget jobs, forget bad trade deals, forget muslim bombing and killing in America yesterday. None of it matters. It's birther, birther, birther all the time.

I think that the mood on FR is over confident. It is way too early to know how things are going to play out.

I never paid much attention to the birther issue and don’t care about it now. But what the press is trying to do is paint Trump as a liar, rather as someone who merely changed his position on an insignificant matter.

As of Friday, the weekend news anchors and crews had marching orders to make the birther issue a lead, so they continued to push the narrative. Truly a case of unimaginative and lazy reporting.

Then Trump released his statement "Hillary started it, I finished it".....and it is now backfiring on them/her....painting her as the racist (which she is)

Yes, Trump pounded on the birther issue after the birth certificate was released. Trump always has english on the ball. I believe a lot of us including Trump aren’t sure where Obama was born. Trump now says he believes Obama is a natural born citizen. Don’t take him literally.

In the arguing over Trump’s past statements on the birther issue, Trump got it out to all of us that Hillary was the one who began to question Obama’s citizenship. That was his objective in my opinion.

Listening to DICKerson, you would think Donald Trump woke up every day for five years then went outside of Trump Tower with a Megaphone asking for Obama’s Birth Certificate.

Then Dickerson calls it a lie. No it was an Inquiry.

I guess you can’t ask for proof of allegations that could effectively cause a Constitutional Crisis in our Republic, is that it?
