I grew up there in Queens and finally moved out around 9 years ago to Riverhead Long Island as faaaar away as I could get without actually leaving NY so I am close to the relatives. I could not stand that city, I really believe if I stayed a year or two more I would have ended up in jail. The final straw was when I was having dinner with my parents in a Japanese restaurant in Astoria and we were talking about the CLintons, and some lib next to us didn’t like the disparaging of his heroes, and if you can believe it he stood up and said something to the effect of Bush killing retarded people and PURPOSELY knocked over my drink and pushed me. The only reason I didn’t beat him into a pulp is because my 70 year old mother ( 70 at the time) would have had a heart attack as she has a nervous condition, she was literally having a panic attack, and we just got out of there ASAP but as I was leaving I walked up to this guy (while mom was outside) and told him “I’m going to be looking for you, pray to God I do not” and he made this “wooo” sound acting like he was scared, and he should have been because everyday for the next month I went to that restaurant looking for him. Never found him though thank God, because absolutely I would ended up on Rikers Island. I had to leave. I hate that city with an absolute passion like you can’t believe. I’ve been back a few times and I literally get sick to my stomach there, my stomach goes in knots and is painful. It’s like poison that place.
Went every day for a month. :)
I can DEFINITELY appreciate that.
Libs are too outnumbered here on south shore to speak up when we talk pro Trump in places.
Staten Island is pretty secure on the south shore from that nonsense.
Queens, BKLN, Manhattan, Bronx and North Shore of SI are GONE.
I am glad for you that you left. I hope mother is faring well and it was good of you to take that into account when dealing with this moron.
