Obama and his campaign deserve full credit for allowing the “birther” movement to thrive because of their repeated efforts to withhold and delay the release of his long form birth certificate. This obfuscatory behavior reinforced the notion that he was hiding something.

Whoever his biological father was Obama was reportedly born within a marriage so legally he is the son of Obama and his citizenship is granted through his father, who was a British citizen at the time of B.O.’s birth. Obama may have had dual American citizenship if he was born in Hawaii, but in no case is he entitled to Natural Born Citizenship Status.

Those of us who have been tracking Obama’s birth facts for nearly a decade know there’s lots of holes in the story.

This is not exactly true. My son and daughter were both born seven years apart in the same US Army hospital in Germany while my husband was stationed in Germany, and I was still a German citizen who became a naturalized citizen on June 12, 1977 in Junction City, KS when we were stationed at Fort Riley, KS. Both received a Consular birth certificate from the American Consulate when my husband registered their birth.

I don't get it why you insist on posting this same crap over and over about both parents having to be citizen parents. That is not true.

For example had my daughter been born here in the states she would have been automatically been a natural born citizen because I was a legal resident who received a Green Card when I came over with my husband and our son on September 25, 1966 when he was transferred from his duty station in Germany to Fort Campbell KY.

I remember when Obama ran for Senator from Illinois. The news media was THRILLED to have a man “Born in Kenya” running for that seat in Congress.
