All summer long, Hillary Clinton delighted in snappy attack lines about Donald Trump. [ ]
But as the campaign moves into the final stretch, Clinton finds herself chasing an even more elusive target: herself.
Just seven weeks before Election Day and Clintons poll numbers slipping, her campaign is trying yet again to explain one of the worlds most famous politicians to a skeptical public.
The effort marks an unusual moment of introspection for Clinton, who has long refused to engage in the kind of public self-examination that can help transform would-be heads of state into relatable figures.

A suggested alternative headline:
“You can’t polish a turd.”
ROFL @ this headline
OK.....nothing against you Olog-hia................I am going to have to think if I really want to read this tripe from AP.
Clinton to focus on herself..................LOL this has got to be a full on BS article. I do find the headline funny though. Interesting.
Oh no. Not another reset button.
So she’s going to attack herself? What a poser, everyone else is already doing it.
They argue that people like Clinton more when she’s serving in office than when she’s campaigning. LMAO
The summer of Trump, then the fall of Clinton.
She’s had more, ‘Restarts’ than we’ve had, ‘Summers of Recovery’ at this point!
Give it up, Hillary. You. Are. Going. To. LOSE.
Geez, the first sentence alone deserved a barf alert.
You win this thread! It is about polishing a turd!
Hillary needs another reboot story.
This is about a woman who has been in the public eye nearly a quarter of a century.
How much more do people need to become acquainted with her?
Hillary is done.
Says Hillary in her fake southern black drawl:
"I ain't noways turd."
Will she figure out she is lying to herself? Nawwwww!
Just what the middle of the country wants to hear: more about Hillary herself. Most people I know who are not on the political extremes cannot stand Hillary as a person. For the independent/undecided voters, personality can trump political stances.
Last night on Megyn Kelley’s show, Bill Bennett was asked what advice would he give to the Hildebeast to improve her chances of winning the presidency.
His answer was,
“Become a different person.”
She is horrible and unlikable so I love the strategy.
Mythbusters polished the scat of lions and ostriches. They had to dry them out, pulverize them and shape them into spheres before polishing, though. Unlikely Hillary will subject herself to such physical torture, I suspect.
