I’m watching CNN dissect this right now. They are spinning it as if Trump made a big mistake; he could have said nothing and it would have gone away. Now the birther issue is raised again, and it gives Clinton an advantage politically.
Just reporting what the talking heads are saying.
CNN lying. It wasn’t going away because they talked about it on their shows at night - Lemon in particular. They talked about why Trump wouldn’t address birtherism personally. He did and trolled them in the process.
Just yesterday they were saying the opposite. CNN also said, yesterday, if Trump just said Obama was born in the US, this issue would go away. They knew they were lying when they said that, becuase they knoe that no matter what Trump said, the story was going to be Trump, circa 2014.
CNN is a sitcom, you know.
Yes, but what has been exposed is that Hillary started the Birther issue in the first place.
