Hillary Clinton vows she would dramatically reduce the deportation of illegal immigrants if elected president, and expand President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty.
“We’re going to end family detention, close private detention facilities, and stop the raids and roundups,” she said during a speech at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington D.C.
Clinton vowed to defend Obama’s two executive amnesty programs DAPA and DACA, and promised to expand it if elected president. DACA gives amnesty for illegal immigrants brought to the country as children and DACA gives amnesty for their parents. But Clinton touted additional cases where she would unilaterally give illegal immigrants legalization.
“We need a simple, straightforward system where other people with sympathetic cases who are contributing to their communities can make their case and be eligible for deferred action too,” she said. “Like people who experience and report extreme labor abuses.”

Yes what “raids and roundups is she talking about”. The last I heard over half the people caught crossing the boarder illegally are catch and release... they just have to promise to show up for a hearing a year or two down the road... which none of them do.
The actual statistics are both revealing and damning. Despite a growing number of people in the country illegally, ICE under Obama has been deporting less and less people.
Typically we are told that their are 11 million people in the country illegally. This is an outright lie. The truth is not that hard to find however. Just based on what we know about the number of people who we are aware have entered the country illegally in the last ten years vs the number which have been deported or left voluntarily, the real number is easily several times the 11 million figure that is constantly throw around.
And what raids is she talking about...the gun runners??
Did she begin this speech with how women should have the right to vote and how they should burn their bras? And how some mean ol’ guy wants her to ‘iron his shirt’?
She is so out of touch, reminds me of my mother still using the phrase ‘afro americans’. She got mad at ME when I told her that phrase was replaced 40 years ago.
Agree. And if this subject comes up, I would like Trump to look directly at her and say ‘so, you aren’t going to enforce the LAWS of this country? How can you take the Oath of Office of the Presidency then?’ If she responds with anything about Obama’s EOs, he can point out that the President doesn’t create LAWS, no matter how many EOs the President may write. THEY ARE NOT LAWS. That MIGHT shut her up.
May as well stop apprehending illegals. All that’s going on is “Catch and Release” anyway.
