Bacterial pneumonia always starts out contagious. If not, how did the person catch it? But after taking antibiotics it is no longer contagious. Clinton’s medical statement is technically correct. But it was clearly written by the Clinton PR department in the Clinton style rather than be the doctor who signed off on the PR statement.
Even when the truth is with the Clintons they cannot help themselves from trying to obfuscate the truth.
But note how anti-Clinton people are distracted by this obfuscation from the important topics. The obfuscation worked. The Clinton PR people succeeded. The anti-Clinton people got suckered into a no-win situation on an irrelevant detail.

i was diagnosd with a non-contagious bacterial pneumonia this spring (not mild) and was hospitalized for a week. visitors had to do the gown and mask thing for thew first three days while they tried to grow sputum, blood, and nasal cultures.
finally, the infectious disease doc said they couldn't get anything interesting to sprout so he pronounced me non-contagious, tho it still took 10 days of iv antobiotics and steroids to clear it up.
