I’ve always thought of “the Wall” as more of a symbol is visual terms of the idea of border security. It doesn’t matter to me where they build and in what form it takes; what matters is that there is a sincere effort to prevent people from illegally crossing the border. We clearly do not have that now, so if we get that, the rest is details best left to the professional involved.
Yes. ‘The Wall’ is good communication to many people, it is plain and obvious, and resonates; they understand what ‘wall’ means. But I’ve never personally cared if it was meant metaphorically. I trust Trump to do something to stop the influx, that’s all that matters.
