Four Studies Find ‘No Observable Sea-Level Effect’ From Man-Made Global Warming(DOH!)

....the Earth’s coasts actually gained land over the past 30 years, according to another study published August 25 in Nature Climate Change.

Researchers led by Gennadii Donchyts from the Deltares Research Institute in the Netherlands found that the Earth’s surface gained a total of 58,000 square kilometers (22,393 square miles) of land over the past 30 years, including 33,700 sq. km. (13,000 sq. mi.) in coastal areas.

“We expected that the coast would start to retreat due to sea level rise, but the most surprising thing is that the coasts are growing all over the world,” study co-author Fedor Baart told the BBC.

“We were able to create more land than sea level rising was taking.”

Looks like some more "Scarlet 'D's" will be forced upon these contrarians. How dare they challenge "settled science". Now we'll really need a secretary of climate change. Right?

DENIERS!!! :-)

Speaking for myself, I've been going to the same place at the coast for about 30 years. Though the current cabal would have me believe that it should be under fathoms of water....

...there's no change. For 30 years. The tide comes in, the tide goes out. Like clockwork. Same old, same old.

Hmmmm. Just scratching my head with the question of, how much would the sea level drop if we took all the ships out of the water? Guess we better not give them any ideas. ;-)

The Dutch follow sea rise and fall verrry closely. They have to.

15 years ago algore told us the island nation of Vanuatu was being overwhelmed by the sea due to global warming.

They must all be drowned or drowning by now. Let’s see....

Since AGW doesn’t actually exist, it’s no surprise not to see any effects of it.

If sea level is constant, just think how much lower it would be if the gubermint hadn’t shrunk the capacity of toilet tanks!

...there's no change

I've made the identical observation over a similar period.
Years ago, an acquaintance used the rising sea levels as proof that GW was real. It occurred to me at the time what a powerful tool the Big Lie is; keep talking about something as if it exists, and people will eventually start to report actually having seen it!

Actually the only thing I found from my time at Brighton Beach in Brooklyn is while the tide hasn’t come in, there is much more sand. The back wall on Bay 1 was between 8-10 feet high. You can now walk up to it and put your foot on top of the wall. The boardwalks are also closer to the sand.

I live on a sailboat in coastal Georgia. I keep an eye on the sea level also.

If it is changing, it isn’t much.

Of course, this weekend, we have a 9.7 ft tide, but, that happens every spring and fall. Usually it’s more like 8 ft.

Completely unscientific but there has been no change on sea level on my boat ramp at high tides, in 20 years.

More evidence that we may be, have been for a few decades, on the cusp of a reversal of the interglacial climate that allowed humans to thrive and overrun the planet these past ten thousand years. Sea levels rose considerably during this period, for example inundating what had been a land connection between Britain and the Continent. Humanity went from maybe a few million to almost seven billion souls during that brief span of time. I am hoping the reversal comes after I’m gone.
