It’s interesting that both Gerry Studds and Barney Frank were (basically) the Reps for the MA fishing industry. Lord knows they were socially Liberal but they were, in their own way, old-style politicians who actually tried to represent their district. Neither one would let the government screw over the fishing industry if they had any say in the matter.
I don’t actually know who has those districts now, but I’m pretty sure it’s some Yes-Man for Obama and fedgov. Who the hell cares about the fishermen?? Political Elitists only look out for themselves.
