With EBT, Food Stamps, Free School meals and WIC there is not one single reason for this to be true.................

Nearly all schools offer breakfast and lunch and many are now offering them free to all takers. The newest trend in school dining is to offer supper as well. Then there are the ‘backpacks’ for the weekend, because God knows we shouldn’t expect parents to feed their kids on the weekends. When school is out, many schools offer free lunches to anyone under the age of 18. And of course, these kids’ parents are getting EBT cards that account for the kids in the family as well. But we must do more—won’t someone think of the children?
