We need to train our people to respond to these forays in ways that highlight that we will not let them divert attention from the actual issues, by their false and misleading focus on things which tell us nothing whatever about our candidate--but clearly demonstrate their desperation to change the subject.

It would be a lot easier if we had a few more honest news programs actually trying to focus on what is relevant. But we can win with the cards being dealt.
