Colon was one of the worst AA generals ever.
Trump has one interesting trait, in that he continually gets people to out themselves in public.

If he did nothing else but draw out our enemies and closet Liberals I would praise him.

Actually, if I were Trump, I would call Powell - privately, off the record. I would clarify to Powell what I stand for, tell him that the last thing I would ever be, or have ever been is a racist, and would emphasize to him what I wanted to do for the military and for veterans. I would then thank him for his service, tell him I respect his decisions, choices, and allegiances. That’s it. End of story. Maybe that’s pointless, but Powell is so far off the mark that I feel someone has to remind him that it was a Republican President who trusted him.
The new email dump this afternoon has some gems about Colin Powell.
Powell’s Kuwait war plan was for a frontal assault against fortified positions. Bush overrode him and oped for Swartzkoff’s wide flank turn. But powell has had no problem with taking all the credit.

Colin Powell knows deep in his heart that he does not deserve the recognition he has received. He was a product of affirmative action. He took credit for the accomplishments of people like Norman Schwarzkopf. Like many sycophants he chose to present himself as a Republican. We can thank Donald Trump for exposing these frauds. He calls Trump a disgrace yet Powell is a good friend of Calypso Louis Farrakhan. He revealed his character in the Scooter Libby affair. He claims Trump, “is in the process of destroying himself.” Where have we heard that before?
What if Obama is muslim? How about the lie he told when he ran as a Christian? He would never have been elected as a muslim. Though we know Powell would have voted for him.
