A TV anchor started his broadcast Sunday with a startling statement. “Good evening,” said WABC weekend anchor Joe Torres. “We begin with Hillary Clinton’s death.” Torres didn’t correct himself, but the broadcast continued on to report Clinton’s health troubles at Sunday’s 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York. The Democratic presidential candidate was dehydrated standing outside on the hot day, her campaign said, and video taken of her leaving the site early showed her needing assistance to get into a van. The station told TVSpy that the mistake was accidental. “During a live introduction to a story about the health of Hillary Clinton, Joe Torres inadvertently said ‘death’ when he meant to say ‘health.’” a station spokesperson said. “It was clear from the context of the story, the reporters’ information and graphics on the screen that Secretary Clinton was alive and recovering.” Following Sunday’s episode, Clinton’s campaign announced she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Jennifer Granholm and the NY Times immediately said it was a good thing, showing that Hillary Clinton could empathize with Americans who had died, or were about to die. "She's out there, trying to strengthen the middle-class, and working to help working-mothers, particularly the dead ones," said Granholm. "I think its a real positive for her campaign."

In all seriousness, after watching that video you gotta kinda wonder if she really is still alive. Reminds me of the guys they carry off in “The Sixth Day”. “He looks dead.” “Naw, he’s ok. We just gotta get him to Chelsea’s apartment.” Pushes tongue into the guy’s mouth and straightens his contorted neck.
For crying out loud they were dragging her feet by the toes and she lost a shoe. This is pretty danged serious.
Many in Pittsburgh still remember the anchor of our local NBC affiliate the day Groucho Marx passed away.
“Grouch Marx took a turn for the worse today. In fact, he died.”
I am sure all the networks news channels have had packets ready to go when she catchs a cab it will be glowing and be shown over and over again
