Former DNC Chair Urges Democrats to Identify Potential Successor for Sick Hillary
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Sep 13th, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Don Fowler urged Democrats to come up with a process to identify a potential successor for Sick Hillary.

Hillary Clinton collapsed yesterday at Ground Zero in New York City. She was dragged into her waiting van. The Politico reported:

It’s extremely unlikely Democrats will have to change the ticket. But even some Clinton allies say there should be a clearer process.

A former Democratic National Committee chairman says President Barack Obama and the party’s congressional leaders should immediately come up with a process to identify a potential successor candidate for Hillary Clinton for the off-chance a health emergency forces her out of the race.

“Now is the time for all good political leaders to come to the aid of their party,” said Don Fowler, who helmed the DNC from 1995 to 1997, during Bill Clinton’s presidency, and has backed Hillary Clinton since her 2008 presidential bid. “I think the plan should be developed by 6 o’clock this afternoon.”

They keep saying that they’ll postpone the elections.

O’Reilly repeated this crap on TV last night.

Like we don’t have a constitution and electors and an electoral college.

They can discuss this all they want, but Hillary will give them the middle finger if they ask her to step aside. She can’t be forced out.

I love the smell of defeatism this early in the campaign: it smells like victory!

Hillary needs to stay in. Their most logical choice other than her at this point is Bernie and I am not sure Trump can beat Santa Clause.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they tried for Obama.

I think, and I think they think, Sanders, Biden, and Kaine are all losers. The DNC has one last faint hope: Obama - a long shot but might be their best shot regardless of the Constitution which they ignore anyway. Obama has gotten away with a lot of unforeseen violations of the Constitution these last seven years and he and the Left are used to passivity of the Right.

The DNC is desperate and Obama may seem like their only winning shot. Bernie, Biden, or Kaine would almost certainly lose. They might see Obama as their only real chance right now. And seven years of inaction by the states and the people of the states in the face of repeated and egregious violations of the Constitution have emboldened Obama and the Left to possibly try something like this.

As with other violations, they may try using the “dead letter” defense. Or Obama may try using martial law in some kind of invented “emergency”. Who knows? As long as they go unchallenged, the whole Constitution is up for grabs as far as the Left is concerned.

What about replacing Crooked Hillary?

Oh wait, the DNC has no problem with corruption. Never mind.

Another Torricelli job.

Nominate a candidate who’s a dud? No problem, just swap in another one.

Let the Republicans try that, see what happens.

Look, if the entire Rat Party failed to properly vet their candidate before putting her on the national ballot in the general election, why should they get to replace her at the last minute with a completely unknown candidate?? Shouldn’t part of your party’s process include selecting a person who will make it to November? You made a bad choice. You’ve still got Jill Stein and Gary Johnson if you still don’t liel like Trump after all this campaigning.

This talk of replacing Hillary is nothing but talk. Hillary ain’t leaving and they’re afraid of the dirt the Clintons have on all of them. Instead they’re gonna let Hillary go down to defeat. They don’t have to pay to get her off the ticket, and the Clintons are eliminated as a political force forever. The Obamas don’t want the Clintons anywhere near the White House except as visitors. In 2020 they’ll control the party and pick the presidential nominee, namely Michelle.

Democrats are getting desperate... They know she can’t beat Trump because it’s now become a battle between two celebrities and while Donald may appear irrational and even a bit unstable, Hillary is completely unstable and tainted beyond reproach.

The left-wing media should have realized that when they hatched their plan to create a third party candidate in Trump to ruin Republican chances (which they accomplished with Perot in 1992), that it had a chance of backfiring... It has, Trump is now the actual Republican nominee and after 8 years of ineptitude and apathy, the country needs a change and Hillary is not the change they desire. You gotta love it when the media gets it wrong, and my how they have gotten it wrong.

This reminds me of Ronald Reagan all over again. They media huff and puffed and spewed hatred Ronnie’s way and all he did was brush it off and steamroll his way to two the largest electoral victories in history.

The Constitution does not allow for postponing an election. We have had elections during wars. A war is a little more serious than Hillary.

Actually you do not vote for a candidate. You vote for electors. Her electors would be free to vote for whomever they choose in the case of her death or incapacitation.

I wish Hillary good health, she is beatable. I think I see Joe Biden warming up stage right.
