Hillary Clinton proved once again this weekend that she just cant tell the truth.
Even about the simplest things.
She almost collapsed on the sidewalk in New York City and her team assured us she was just a little overheated.
Turns out, she was diagnosed with pneumonia two days before.
It also looks like her team didnt take her to the emergency room in order to keep the medical details under wraps.
Even allies of the Clinton campaign are stunned at the level of secrecy about her health.
Here is the great Matt Vespa with more.
From Townhall:
Once again the Clinton provided another reason for voters to remain skeptical about her honesty and trustworthiness. For the Clinton camp, this aura of secrecy once again bit them in the butt. One ally called this episode a self-inflicted f**king nightmare (viaThe Hill):
A lack of transparency about her health has turned what might have been a non-issue into a hugely problematic storyline for Hillary Clinton that could plague the Democratic presidential nominee into November, say allies and confidants. One ally described the string of events that culminated in Clinton leaving a Sept. 11 memorial early as a self-inflicted fing nightmare.
Clintons campaign sought to deal with the fallout on Monday of damaging video that showed Clintons knees buckling and Secret Service agents helping her into a van. The campaign later revealed that the Democratic nominee was suffering from pneumonia.

A second ally said Clinton and her team probably wanted to withhold that shed been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday so that conservatives who have been raising questions about her health wouldnt have ammunition.
Yet in withholding the information and allowing Clinton to go forward with an event that she was not able to handle, they made the situation worse.
Not ideal
But, thats what you get.
She could have easily told the media on Friday that she had pneumonia and rested a few days.
Instead, she lied. And got caught.
What else is new?
I assume your PSI score was quite low.
Nonsense. Pneumonia is like pin the tail on the donkey. You could react any of many ways.
Many people only are affected by it like a flu. Same happened with my husband. He’s much younger, but it was like a tiring flu for weeks, mostly before he was diagnosed and cared for. He took some time off after the DX, and had taken a few days before when he got a slight fever and we really thought it was a flu that was getting better.
My dad, at least that age, has had several bouts of walking pneumonia. He was just run down. He was fine once DX and RX.
Ok, but where did she then go? Why not just come outside, deliver a few quips and duck back in? Where did she take her pneumoniacal self?
Right.
She could very well have pnuemonia, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have something else more chronic or otherwise detrimental.
And this note is for all the FReepers going nuts over this. It’s possible to have more than one issue.
“Collapsing pneumonia” is NOT “walking pneumonia”.
If what she has is ‘pneumonia’, then it is not the walking kind, is it?
She most likely had Aspiration pneumonia, quite common with Parkinson's patients. But who knows, eh? No biggie - she's only running for the highest position in the country, who are we to ask about her health, right? < / sarc off >
On news outlet (I don’t remember which one) said she headed to Chappaqua...’to be with Bill’...which almost made me spit my coffee out.
Amen to that. God will expose secret sins.
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.
Psalm 90:8 You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.
Isaiah 59:2 Your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
Ezekiel 18:24 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.
There is either walking pnuemonia...a milder form...or full pnuemonia.
She isn’t collapsing necessarily because of pnuemonia. She may have other underlying conditions. Read the good post above about how stiff she was. Catatonic like.
My husband had full-on pnuemonia. But not much worse than having continuous flu for him. Not fun, but not alarming (until I took him to ER because he passed out from coughing/choking fit).
However, the excuse for her pneumonia is that it could be “walking pneumonia”.
Well, this isn’t the walking kind. This is the collapsing kind.
And it leads to folks saying that something else is going on.
“And then, like the keystone cops, the Clinton campaign, upon learning about the cell phone cameras, came up with the pneumonia on Friday ruse, but only after Hillary! was photographed hugging that little girl. Questions arose about why hug a girl when Hillary! could have infected the child?”
What does mere PROXIMITY to your own grandchildren - IF you have bacterial pneumonia (and it HAS to be bacterial if antibiotics were prescribed) - say about Illary’s character...or Chelsea’s, for that matter?
She doesn’t have pneumonia - at least not that alone. Maybe it was caused by a condition like Parkinson’s, which caused her to asperate some food?
Or did a spokes person make a statement saying that a doctor said, X.
A doctor would have a big ethical problem making a false statement about Hillary's health.
For an aide or campange spokes person, it would just be another day of lies in the Hillary saga.
Aspiration pneumonia is most likely what it was - which is not infectious BTW. The infections are due to bacteria-laden fluid getting into the lungs.
Let’s say for the sake of argument Hillary! has Parkinson’s. You can treat Parkinson’s with drugs. They haul her into Chelsea’s and dope her up. The drugs worked and they got her out on the sidewalk, waving to reporters saying, ‘I feel great. It is a beautiful day in New York.’
The Potemkin Village campaign soldiers on!
If you'll notice in her statement, her "doctor" said "she was diagnosed with pneumonia". Not I diagnosed her or "I" had the tests done and diagnosed her or just plain "she has pneumonia". IMO she doesn't want to lose her license and I think we all know she never saw Hillary on that Friday that Hill claimed she was diagnosed with pneumonia.
There is another problem as well. She seemed ok enough prior to her not feeling well at the ceremony. She is seen standing and chatting even somewhat loudly with Charles Schumer and others. There seem to be a variety of types of pneumonia and maybe this disease is vague enough to cover a lot and that is why they through it out. Initially the line was overheated or exhaustion. Then the doctor diagnosis of pneumonia. Maybe that will be enough for the MSM for now but of course not for us. The Deplorables. :)
‘That appearance 90 minutes later outside the apartment building...saying she felt great? Real people with Pneumonia wouldnt be able to do that.’
Was that Hillary or her double?
***A normal 60-year-old person who has real Pneumonia? They get three to four weeks of house-rest mandated and will still be weak for another two or three weeks after that. Drugs wont matter that much.***
***For her to appear in ten days in perfect shape and going back out on the campaign trail? No....with real Pneumonia, you cant do that.
Go and ask people whove had Pneumonia....it just doesnt work that way.
That appearance 90 minutes later outside the apartment building...saying she felt great? Real people with Pneumonia wouldnt be able to do that.***
I said the and thing a couple of days ago. I was 40 and spent 4 days in the hospital. I ended up with pleuracy and a partial collapsed lung but I had to have vanc, levoquin, and zosyn IV around the clock for all 4 days. Not to mention the resp txs every 6 or 8 hours. It took me 6 months to get overer it completely and my doc said that was normal. Imagine a 60 year old. They would have her in the hospital. And she wouldn’t be going outside acting “fine” a couple of hours later. I could barely walk around my house for 2 weeks after I got out I was so sick.
The fact that they came out with heat exhaustion so fast just shuts they needed more time for a more “believable” story.
Her head started bobbing just like before and then the rest of her body. She is having seizures. Even the blank staring she has had that lasted probably less than a minute is a seizure.
Well, it could be walking.
But to be stiff like that, like a zombie, that’s probably something else. The pneumonia might contribute to it, but I doubt it will make someone catatonic...while standing!
Assessing grip strength is a normal test for pneumonia—NOT.
Gotta love this election cycle. Fun process. :-)
It’ll be a joy to watch Trump run the executive branch of government.
