If Hillary was conscious and lucid then she was running the show. She did collapse at the van, but that does not mean she was unconscious or that if so she was unconscious for long.
My bet is that she was conscious and lucid in the van, was absolutely insistent on not going to the hospital, and that even if the SS agent in charge attempted to argue with her at all she was implacable. They can’t force her to accept medical care she doesn’t want.
