A blood culture would show if the mycplasma bacteria is present. But it is called walking oneumonia for a reason, you can and many do go about close to normal routines with the cough and maybe a low grade fever being only manifestations. I don’t believe you suddenly loose body control, go limp, and pass out. If they knew she had this and had a fever why let her go to the memorial? Final question. Where the Hell was and is her husband???

I had bacterial pneumonia, walking pneumonia, in June. Never missed a beat. Only symptom was wheezing so went to doc. She was surprised I was up and around. 5 day antibiotic course. Could still ‘feel’ my lungs for awhile but never stopped doing what I was doing.
