Every Seahawk player and coach stood, arm in arm, for the Anthem. No one sat or took a knee on the Seahawks sidelines. Just the four America and Cop haters on the Dolphins bench.

And don’t forget one fist raised in the air.

I seem to recall a thread on here absolutely lambasting Gabby Douglas for standing at attention for the anthem but not putting her hand over her heart.

Besides also Oakland, have any other NFL teams pull this stunt?

You seriously believe that was honorable? LOL... that prevented the players from kneeling.

I was at the game yesterday. There were all branches of the military as well as police and firefighters that brought out the huge flag that covered the field as well as some standing in the endzones and a color guard in one endzone.

When the military came out with the flag rolled up, the folks in the stands were on their feet cheering and remained cheering for a while (except for a brief moment when the Dolphins came on the field and folks booed - SOP for the opposing team). It was beautiful and the military guy that sang the national anthem did a lovely job.

Here’s more from the Seattle Slimes - pictures and a brief video embedded in same.
