I knew a lady whose husband was there on 9/11. He got out, but had to step over pieces of the jumpers who splattered.

He probably has PTSD to this day.

We didn’t see the grim details of how the others died. We know they were crushed or asphxiated or burned, but we didn’t see it. These we did see, and their deaths puts a face on the diabolical nature of the attack. I think that’s what some people want to forget, and that it can happen again, and that we know who is capable of doing it.
