It was a work day...went ok considering we had our boss in for a visit. She doesn’t usually bother the peons, though. LOL!

Eek! The boss! Nice she doesn’t make things difficult for y’all when she’s there.

It was a good day. Definitely better than yesterday. Not sure what happened but my bum back went off on me with an excrutiating muscle spasm and I was pretty much down for the count all afternoon and evening. Much better today though that muscle is still tender.

No rain and I need to water the flowers tonight. They SAY we’ll get rain tomorrow evening as a cold front comes through but we get screwed so often, I’m not banking on it. One of the toad lilies FINALLY put out a bud today so water is a must.

Sounds like we both get to enjoy cooler temps this weekend though ours won’t be until Sunday. YAY for cool!!

Indeed, yay for cool! I think it’s gotta be the same cool front, but moving here first for some reason. I’m SO looking forward to it!

This summer has been a hot mess! LOL!

Yes, we had a little time out this evening but the karaoke “singers” ran us out. LOL! They’re always bad but tonight’s bunch were exceptionally so.

No kitties in the lap at present but the night’s still young. They’re flaked out like road kill all over the house right now.

TGIF and I’d say you’re ready for it. Any projects lined up for the weekend or are you just going to lay low?
