If I could write his script for response to the press going in and leaving the funeral, it would go something like this: “This is neither the time nor the place...”.

It’s yours free, DJT.

Let’s see how many real conservatives show up. Will Levin,Kristol,Goldberg and Cruz be there.

I suspicion, given the thousands of people who would like to attend, that it is pretty much by invitation only.

They were friends for years and she came out for him right out of the gate.

When I was politically active, back in the 80's, our main battles then were freedom for home schooling (In Maine, you could go to jail and lose your kids); keeping the proposed, mandatory 'Home Health Visitor" that would come and access parents interaction with their kids (The job qualification for the 'visitor" was 'at least a high school execution; the content of textbooks, and ERA - We won on all counts...except that the textbooks watchdogs have lost a lot of ground. My friend, Charlotte Isybyt, author of "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America" is now in her mid-eighties and STILL fighting the good fight - now concentrating on Common Core and Agenda 21.

My group was umbrellered with Charlotte's and other groups in the state and with Eagle Forum.

I was invited, all expense paid - including flight, for the 3-day conference of "Eagle Forum" in DC - Reagan was President.

We had a private tour of the WH - and Reagan was our guest speaker at the closing banquet,

BTW, Maine is now the safest state for home-schooling and has a great network - My next door neighbors home school their kids and my great-granddaughter, up the road, is being home-schooled...I will be teaching her how to write and read in cursive! fruits of our labor.

Phyllis was a dedicated, brilliant and energetic champion of our freedoms, particularly for our children.

The Bushes by contrast did not attend Jerry Falwell’s funeral in 2007 despite all he had done for them over the years. Instead GWB sent an unknown low-level functionary. Nor did they attend the funeral in 1991 of Lee Atwater: went sailing instead, I believe it was.
