Donald Trump is favored by one-in-four African Americans and one-in-three Latinos, according to a poll conducted by the Boston Herald and Franklin Pierce University. The poll of 1,025 likely voters was conducted by RKM Research for Franklin Pierce University and the Boston Herald, from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4.
Overall, Franklin Pierce gets good marks for its polls and the results are in the same ballpark as many other polls. For example, the poll showed Clinton ahead by three points, 44 percent to 41 percent. Eight percent of respondents back Gary Johnson.
The poll showed that Trump has a very favorable rating among among 18.4 percent of 105 Hispanics, and 10.5 percent of 101 African Americans. He also scored a somewhat favorable rating among 16.4 percent of Hispanics and 13.3 percent of African Americans. Combined, he gets a positive rating from 35 percent of Hispanics and 24 percent of African Americans.
Thats apparently better than Gov. Mitt Romney, whose nationwide ballot-box score in 2012 was 27 percent support among Hispanics and 6 percent of African Americans.
Trump isnt going to win a majority of either bloc. Forty-nine percent of Hispanics and 69 percent of African Americans have a very unfavorable view of Trump. But every percent of Hispanic support helps Trump in the critical state of Florida, and every percent of African American support helps Trump in a few northern states, such as Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

One in four African Americans? IF this is true, then what I had thought was FR wishful thinking (and quite frankly, idiocy), may well be true, and we are seeing a landslide developing!
I'd love to see Trump get 15-20% of the black vote, just to stick to the people still citing that one poll (and I believe that it was a local poll) showing his support among blacks at 0% (plus or minus 3%, for people being "funny").
HilLIARy: “BUT I F***ING *OWN* THEM!!!!”
If Trump gets 25% of the Black vote, Hillary is history.
Yeah, misleading headline.
Oh but the experts say that trip to Detroit was a mistake.
Yet Rasmussen has him down by 4. Utter BC!
Don’t pay any attention to that crap. The sole purpose of these “polls” showing Hillary ahead by so many points is allow the Democrat Party, the Elite Republicans, and the media to steal the election for Hillary and to make the case, should or when Donald wins that he stole the election because every “poll” taken showed him trailing Hillary by so many points. Just get ready for a bar room brawl after the election.
Been in a few. Won most, but not all! I feel something saying Trump will win and win BIG!
My son goes to Franklin Pierce University. Great school, no microaggression, safe space bullsiite there what so ever. They don’t tolerate it. Andrew Card was the President there but recently retired.
oh wow...even if this holds up and doesn’t increase this is landslide territory.
Any US citizen or illegal currently working as cheap labor knows that a greater supply of workers is going to drive down their wages at best and put them out of a job at worst. Trump support among this segment of the electorate can only increase when they realizes this.
Trump is just getting started, folks. The best is yet to come. You will all be stunned at the winning numbers and breakdown of Trump gained votes from all sectors of the American voters!!!
IF TRUE, this will be the death knell for Cankles assuming all other voting trends hold. Obummer had 66% turnout among blacks last election with more than 90% of the vote. HRC needs turnout and voting percentages to approach these historic numbers otherwise she’s going to have a tough time making up the deficit among whites, white men particularly, who (hopefully) will turn out in higher numbers than for Romney.
If Trump gets 15% of the black vote its over.
Hillary is going to make up after the election like Scarlett O’Hara - and all the slaves will have left the plantation.
Yes, we always take advice from democrats....
