According to new reports, Greta Van Susteren did not leave her show on Fox News willingly but was abruptly forced out by CEO Murdoch.
Money.cnn.com reported: A sharp knock on the door signaled that Greta Van Susteren's time on Fox News Channel was over.
A courier arrived at Van Susteren's Washington, D.C. home at 9 a.m. Tuesday, hand-delivering two letters that said that Van Susteren "was being taken off the air" immediately, according to her husband, John Coale, who is a high-profile Washington lawyer.
Van Susteren was already planning to leave, but she thought she would be hosting her 7 p.m. program "On the Record" for a few more weeks.
It was also a message from Rupert Murdoch. Van Susteren has been one of the top anchors at Fox News for the past 14 years.
Murdoch, the patriarch of Fox's parent company 21st Century Fox, disliked her recent attempt to renegotiate her contract, and the unusual courier visit was a result of that, said one of the sources interviewed for this story.

I stopped watching FNC while the candidates were still on the stage at the Megyn Kelly ambush debate 13 months ago.
I swore to myself that I would never watch them again and have not watched even one minute of FNC or FBC in all this time. I "unliked" the shows and personalities on fb, avoided watching the clips and links to them, and subscribed to OANN on Roku to assuage my withdrawal symptoms.
I wonder that you were willing to watch them for all this time? With two months of the campaign left, this is probably something you should do now. The Judge and Hannity will probably not last there much longer anyway in these jacked around news times.
I had to sit through 10 mins of 'Ellen' while waiting for an appointment today. I heard 2 elderly ladies going on about how much they loved Ellen and Oprah.

Hannity needs to seriously think about exercising the clause in his contract that allows him to leave FoxNews immediately and immediately go to another network if Ailes were to leave, if he still can.
He should go to a new, start up network like One America News. His presence in it’s lineup can put the start up on the map and possibly make it the new FoxNews in a few short years.
God knows he has made more than enough money at Fox News for 20 years and via his decade and a half long nationally syndicated radio show that he can afford to leave and pursue new opportunities.
He can go to say One America News for less than what he makes at Fox News in exchange for a significant ownership stake/percentage of OAN and if OAN takes off, he will have made far more money at that than toiling for the Murdoch’s. He may also be able to leave New York for good with OAN and have TV and radio studios set up in Florida, where he can both live and work and owe NO state income tax, saving many more millions.
I think Jerry Hall is the nut case, marrying that wrinkly old prune faced jerk. Everyone wants to blame his sons, I say it’s him first.
Hannity’s endless “lists” drive me up the wall. Endless repetition.
I don’t see the big deal. Shows and hosts almost always get pulled immediately off the air if it is cancelled. Abrupt is not an exception.

Its Murdoch I have no doubt he is the one behind all of this. What I liked best about Greta was that she was fair..yes she is a Democrat, but she was fair, fair to both sides and that is what I liked about her. I want Journalists to be fair..not “Republican Journalists” or “Democrat Journalists” just journalists who go on TV to do their JOB unfortunately in this day and age you don’t see that anymore, very rarely..FNC has gone left, for money, for ratings, for whatever reason and they think after this is all said and dont we will come back begging for more, I dont think so

I cut the Cable about three months ago.
Discovered a treasure trove of programs over the air, both old and new, but not world and national news.

they mistakenly think they will keep there viewership....I cut my cable this week and I cant get fox anymore... had slowly stopped watching it over the last year because of the agenda driven content. I am betting by this time next year there will be a alternative to fox for conservatives.
