According to new reports, Greta Van Susteren did not leave her show on Fox News willingly but was abruptly forced out by CEO Murdoch.
Money.cnn.com reported: A sharp knock on the door signaled that Greta Van Susteren's time on Fox News Channel was over.
A courier arrived at Van Susteren's Washington, D.C. home at 9 a.m. Tuesday, hand-delivering two letters that said that Van Susteren "was being taken off the air" immediately, according to her husband, John Coale, who is a high-profile Washington lawyer.
Van Susteren was already planning to leave, but she thought she would be hosting her 7 p.m. program "On the Record" for a few more weeks.
It was also a message from Rupert Murdoch. Van Susteren has been one of the top anchors at Fox News for the past 14 years.
Murdoch, the patriarch of Fox's parent company 21st Century Fox, disliked her recent attempt to renegotiate her contract, and the unusual courier visit was a result of that, said one of the sources interviewed for this story.

Maybe it’s just me, but, I always thought Van Susteren was a weird fit for FNC.
During the primary he was on Fox giving and interview to someone in the big 4 evening lineup every day.
That media access will be gone in a big way in the campaign season and there is someone who has planned it that way.
The Gretchen - Greta - Ailes - and "who's" next is all just side show.
The target is Trump media coverage

I used to be able to at least tolerate Fox News, but now, I swear, they're every bit as anti-Trump as CNN and MSNBC and the major networks are.
It's just breathtaking to see how lock-stop all of these establishment elite Media outlets are. Their citing of poll data is just the most ridiculously selective, phony sideshow that I've ever seen.
"Fair and Balanced"? Fox News has been anything but that, ever since the moment that Trump announced.
I now consider Fox News as part and parcel of the Left Establishment now. There's no difference between them, CNN, MSNBC or the traditional networks.
Donald Trump is fighting a truly formidable array of Enemies, and that's why I think he needs to keep hammering the Media for being the slanted scumbags that they are.
For example: this evening, Brit Hume was on, and the panel was talking about the Trump Surge (which, they, of course, characterized as "polls tightening"). Then they talk about some of the swing states like Florida, and they mentioned a "new" Florida poll which showed Hillary with only a 3 point lead.
Of course, what they really did was cite a Florida poll which was almost 2 weeks old, using that poll instead of the actual new poll which, of course, shows Trump in the lead by 3 points.
At the same time, they ran a scroll on the bottom of the screen which again represented the "old" poll as the "new" poll.
Instead of presenting the current information, they deliberately presented old, clearly outdated information, which consequently overstated Hillary's support by a good 6%.
Totally inaccurate, and deliberately slanted.
Another thing they love to do is cite old RCP averages, which are slow to react to new individual polls, whenever doing so will present Hillary in a better light.
It betrays such blatant bias that anyone who cares to check the facts can see how obvious the propaganda is used to prop Hillary up. It's just a relentless propaganda barrage.
All these major news outlets are just total pro-Hillary shills at this point. If the situation were reversed and this was Hillary surging instead of Trump, they'd be breathlessly talking about the "Trump implosion", non-stop.
If there was really fairness and balance, they'd be talking about Hillary's collapse, instead of "polls tightening".
What a bunch of liars they all stand exposed as.
I hate the Media and Establishment (but I repeat myself) with a passion that will never die; indeed, it waxes stronger with each passing day.
Repudiate the establishment.

Greta had Trump on her show A LOT, way before he ever announced his run for president.
It was Donald Trump that caused the release of Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi from a Mexican jail.
Donald also wrote him a check for $25,000 to help him get his life in order.
And Donald did all this more than a year before he declared his candidacy. And he did it quietly, unselfishly, without any expectation of anything in return. Donald Trump truly loves out vets and always has for decades.
That’s the Trump legacy, doing incredible things for people in need without them ever expecting it.
Greta reported on Donald’s efforts to free Sgt. Tahmooressi. But she also reported on it while he was in jail. But Mexico could care less about news reports of American vets in their jails. It was Donald putting the pressure on them that caused them to release him from jail.

People do change as they age, but Greta had a great ways to go since her days as chief cheerleader for the bent one during his impeachment proceedings. Krauthammer really did see the light, not so sure about Greta.
Murdoch appears to be a real slime ball. He bulls through life with the ammorality of a rich man with no conscience.
With his popular radio show, he could put real hurt on Fox News. I'm sure he knows where the skeletons are.

Fox News has consistently had poor advertising. Its a wonder they are on the air at all.

There seems to be a mass exodus from Fox News. Over the weekend it was Anna Kooiman’s last hurrah. Today Maria Molina also said goodbye to Fox News touting her PHD as the reason for leaving. Anna said she was moving to Australia. A few others have left as well. However watching the network recently it looks like they have returned back to the model of all blondes.
I don’t wish ill on her, but I’m waiting to see her taken out of the race and out of American politics/public life permanently. To me, she is a modern-day Jezebel.
