President Barack Obama continued his international apology tour for American deeds overseas, traveling to the Asian country of Laos to deliver a speech. Obama acknowledged that the United States dropped more than two million tons of bombs in the country, intervening in the countrys civil war.
He sorrowfully noted that villages and entire valleys were obliterated as a result of the bombing, including the ancient Plain of Jars.
That conflict was another reminder that, whatever the cause, whatever our intentions, war inflicts a terrible toll, especially on innocent men, women and children, Obama said. Today, I stand with you in acknowledging the suffering and sacrifices on all sides of that conflict.

I have a friend who was of the mong people traveling the mountains in season to other areas, nomadic..

Unless he was part of it it means nothing
That little man-child needs to get his ignorant F***ing mouth bitchslapped off his face.
Somebody please bitchslap this punk.
The mouthy ignorant little boy doesn't know anything about anything.
But the people who need to be hammered for foisting this ignorant bastard (and I mean that in the sense of his being a fatherless piece of sh*t) are the power blocs of New York and Los Angeles who control the News and Entertainment media.
These are the people who propped up this ignorant mouthy thing and made the rest of us have to suffer under his imbecility.
Laos was such a political mess after the Japanese were defeated. Rival princes vieing for control and the hard core communist cadre going to the red Viet Minh north of Hanoi after the French defeat. They received training and indoctrination before returning to Laos.
In the latter part of the fifties, IIRC, they achieved control of the north and east provinces contiguous with Vietnam. This gave the Vietminh a supply route to to the south of Vietnam under the guise of a neutral Laos as per earlier Geneva accords.
So the Communist Vietminh and red Laotians were already firmly entrenched and attacking the South before any US air or ground attacks were instigated against them.
This is all stuff that my fifth and sixth grade school teachers discussed as current events. Yeah, before teachers unions and when every school day started with the pledge of allegiance and the Lord’s Prayer. We knew exactly who the enemies were.
How many more apologizing tours is this a$$hat going to do to this country? Even after he leaves office - if he does really leave - he will travel the globe just like Bubba but the only difference is that Barky will always be apologizing for the evil America, unlike Bubba.
Obama bombed Laos?
Obama apologizes for American actions, in a war to contain his beloved Communism.
And we Americans are paying out of the wazoo for this Moron-in-Chief to go around bashing our military with every trip he makes. As long as others will pay him to do so these speeches will continue for years after he is out of office.
We chatted before about the 123’s ...”blackspot”..
a rare breed indeed...low and slow....we had a few
with us
According to Fox...USS Firebolt, a coastal patrol ship, was shadowed by seven Iranian vessels. Three of the vessels came within 500 yards and shadowed Firebolt for eight minutes. ...Then one of the Iranian vessels broke off and raced in front of Firebolt and "came to a stop directly in front of the ship" at a range of 100 yards, according to the official.
..ours were black...scary black...*smiles*
Yep.
Including Hanoi Jane and John "Jenjiss Khan" Kerry.
Damn this POS, he is a leftist turd..... North Vietnam had invaded and occupied a good part of Laos in order to launch further attacks against South Vietnam. The USA did not go out looking to bomb Laos, we were helping to fight off the invading enemy armed forces, vicious commie hordes which were swarming like locusts through southeast Asia.
