Where I lived in Michigan, someone put one of those red dots (and it was reflective—great effect at night!) on the nose of a deer on a ‘Deer Crossing’ sign, making the deer look like Rudolph. The authorities kept removing it, and someone would replace it. Eventually, the authorities gave up.
We get them here too, same thing. I know there is one that has had one on it for about 10 years...probably more.
