European Union leaders have called for China to take action on its bloated steel industry and defended an order to Ireland to collect back taxes from Apple, highlighting the trade strains looming over a global economic summit.
The president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, said Sunday that the Group of 20 meeting must urgently find a solution to excess steel production that Beijings trading partners blame for job losses.

CHINESE STEEL IS CRAP!!!
Italian, Japanese, and USA steel is the best.
A lot of bridge builders in San Francisco say that too, about Chinese Steel, but they usually don’t get listened to till long after the fact.

As an average guy, I totally agree that Chinese steel is absolutely terrible.
The Brits used to make good steel didn’t they?
Bayer AG has implemented a world wide policy of not allowing Chinese steel on any new construction. That includes steel from all vendors using steel in their products.
The Material Test Reports per EN10204 3.1 or 3.2 must not state China as the place of melt
