I feel sorry for every black person for that realize they were used almost as bad as slavery. That anger won’t go down well. I also feel solidarity with all of them when they have to come out of the closet as uniquely thinking individuals and have to pass through the gauntlet of their friends and relatives. Been there, done that. I am treated less well than anyone else in my extended family because of how I choose to vote. Groupthink is powerful and bucking it is not comfortable.
I hope Trump and Carson are well received by enough. We already know the media will continue to excoriate for every move Trump makes. I pray more people come to realize they are just desperate to hang onto a cushy life as a lapdog to power.

MLK had a self aggrandizing side, therefore was unable to do as much good as he otherwise could. Still he seemed to mostly stand for public sanity in racial policy. The next generation of community organizers jettisoned this.

Donald Trump has been in the public eye for over 35 years, all over the media, hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles, frequently mentioned on television and radio.
And in all that time, not one person, of any color, ever accused Mr. Trump of being a racist. In fact the opposite is true: anyone in a position to know says Mr. Trump is colorblind and ethnicity-neutral. His company has never had any issues with EEOC.
So Donald Trump announces his candidacy and instantly, miraculously, he’s transformed from an average Joe on race relations into a raging cross between Hitler and Bull Connor. Yes, the democrat media is slimy.
And the kicker is, there are Republicans upon whom this works and some of them throw in with the NeverTrump Democrats. Yeah, crazy, I know.
Any scandals with Donald have been small scandals. That doesn’t mean that his enemies won’t try picking those up at the last minute to give him problems.

If Trump were as evil as the Dems/Clinton/Media/GOPestablish have tried to make him seem, they would have lines of previous employees and business dealers dissing him on a daily basis.
So far, I can recall only one person who ‘seemingly’ was negative about Trump and she later criticized the media for misconstruing what she actually said.
If a real fair-and-balanced news org existed, could they find a few people to criticize Clinton? LOL. Stadiums couldn’t contain them all.

My grandfather used to say, "You can lead a horse to water - but if you can get him to jump in and float on his back, then you've really got something." That's just about what it's going to take to turn the black community in the right direction. Blacks have been stuck in the Democrat trenches for sooo long, it's going to be very difficult to have them come out. Trump is doing what he can, and that's a good thing. If only 15-20% of blacks take his message to heart, Hillary is toast.
