This election is over! You got that? Hillary Clinton has already won.
Only one not so little problem. The one making this declaration is none other than the Eddie Mush of politics aka Bob Shrum. This time the extremely unlucky political consultant (0 for 8 in presidential candidate wins) who is infamous for possessing the "Shrum curse" might have cast a pall of misfortune upon the Hillary Clinton campaign with his gloatingly confident prognostication of certain victory for her.
In fact, she has pretty much already won according to Shrum who was jubilantly performing an end zone victory dance while speaking to John Heilemann today on Bloomberg's With All Due Respect.

Is her mental state to blame for why she looks like an oven-mitt?
Mush+Shroom ????
....why she looks like an oven mitt....
That look worked for Golda Maier in Israel. But, the Felon running for office is no Golda.
What happened to the black pants ILLary SHOULD have worn with that map top??
Wasn’t Heileman the one who got rebuked by Cruz for asking all those false premise questions during one debate?
Somebody please get Dick Morris to predict a Hitlery victory.
No, the necessity to camouflage all the medical equipment is.
Good one.
Who dressed her?
I thought it was over when Berry Soetoro endorsed her . . . his picks have been the kiss of death.
She is trying to look homey-folksy.........
Martha Stewart........
She saw it on QVC and couldn’t resist!........
From Newsweek as quoted in article:
>>Kerry had slept only two hours the night before. He was sitting in a small hotel room at the Westin Copley (in a small irony of history, next door to the hotel where his grandfather, a boom-and-bust businessman, shot himself some 80 years ago). Bob Shrum, Kerry’s friend and close adviser, couldn’t resist the moment. “May I be the first to say ‘Mr. President’?” said Shrum.
From article’s writer:
If Hillary plunges precipitously in the polls sometime soon, many pundits will blame the drip drip dripping of her many scandal revelations released to the public or the positive reception to Donald Trump’s immigration policy but I think we know what the real culprit will be: the Shrum curse.
I remember after the election an article called “Tears, Bitterness at Kerry Campaign Party”, from CNS. Here’s bits of it:
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/kerry-campaign-party-turns-tears-and-bitterness
<>> As President George Bush edged closer to the 270 electoral votes necessary to secure re-election, supporters of Democratic nominee John Kerry openly wept and consoled each other at the Election Night celebration in Boston’s Copley Square. Some Kerry supporters called Bush’s platform “all lies” and heckled a group of College Republicans who were passing through the crowd.
>>A distraught woman confronted Democratic U.S. Rep. Harold Ford in the lobby of the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel and screamed, “Can you tell me why everybody made a mistake?” Ford responded, “Let me talk to the candidate before I make a comment. It’s been a long day.” Another woman standing near Ford began to openly weep at the prospect of a Kerry loss.
>>Former California Democratic governor Gray Davis spoke briefly with Ford and then essentially conceded the election to Bush and looked ahead to 2008.
...When CNSNews.com asked why he had confidently predicted a Kerry victory just a few hours earlier, Davis responded, “I, like many people saw the exit polls, which saw Kerry ahead in every battleground state.”
“We believed they were a precursor of a great evening,” a somber Davis explained.
While Davis said he was “very proud of the campaign Kerry ran,” he did criticize the party’s efforts in southern states.
“Part of [winning the White House] is certainly not writing off the South. It’s too big a part of America just to concede to the other party and expect to win,” Davis said.
Davis praised Bush’s re-election campaign.

‘It’s all lies’
Meanwhile, outside Kerry’s Copley Square rally, a contingent of College Republicans from Northeastern University marched through the sea of Kerry supporters and got heckled.
“You vote for Bush, you get what you deserve,” shouted Kerry supporter Bob Bryant to the GOP contingent.
“Bush has put forward a platform that people tend to believe even though it’s all lies. Bush is dishonest; he is not being honest with the American people,” Bryant said.
Another man shouted to the Republicans “This is why the rest of the world calls us ignorant Americans. You obviously don’t read the newspapers or you would not believe as you do.”
A woman, unhappy the Republicans were there, screamed, “someone shut up those idiots.’
Brian Henchey, one of the College Republicans marching through the crowd told CNSNews.com that he had “never seen more sad and depressed faces in my life than what I have seen here in Copley Square tonight.”
“I think our president is a strong man, he is a strong leader. He is what this country needs,” said Megan, one of the GOP marchers.
Kerry supporters from Ireland weighed in on why they believe Bush will likely be re-elected.
“It clarifies the fact that American people aren’t so smart. If I could, I would have voted for Kerry,” said the woman.
Air America began in 2004. In Boston, the stations on 1200 and 1430 were running it beginning in October of that year. (These days 1200 runs Bloomberg Biz Radio and 1430 has Rush, Hannity, etc) It was planned to have Al Franken do his show from Boston around Election Day. Surely it would be a celebration of Kerry’s grand victory! Instead, when I tuned in for a couple minutes (all I could bear), it
sounded like he’d been awoken in the middle of the
night. No energy (not that he usually has any in his speaking), and a very glum attitude. Some talk of challenging some election results but that was about it.
AHEM! Attention everybody. We now see the latest effects of the Shrum Curse with the plunge in Hillary’s poll numbers. And it began last Friday at the EXACT MOMENT that Shrum opened his mouth and declared Hillary the winner.
Another reminder that Hillary’s poll collapse began the moment that Shrum opened his mouth 2 weeks ago and declared her already the winner.
Yeah, I know that stuff like curses can be written off as superstitious nonsense but with the Shrum Curse, it is eerily accurate and powerful.
