One hopes that during his visit with Mexican President Enrique Pena Lieto, Donald Trump reminded him of Mexicos hypocrisy on border security and immigration control. Trump should remind those who alternately accuse him of a racist immigration stance and then flip-flopping when he softens it that border security could be achieved simply by adapting Mexicos policies.
Appearing on Fox News, Chris Cabrera of the National Border Patrol Council noted that it is a felony just to cross the border into Mexico illegally. There is no green card, no food stamps, or pathway to Mexican citizenship.

Sounds like a plan to me. Especially since we always seem to be on the brink of failure for Social Security but never seem to lack for money for trespassers to survive or welfare or food stamps etc. Rewarding bad behavior? Sure seems like it to me. How bad must if be for someone to want to enter Mexico and face felony imprisonment? As far as the "gun issue", lyin' king and company "lost", what, over 2,000 weapons in their attempt to prove something. And yeah, I know part of the fast and furious was started under GWB. The current admin incompetence has spread far and wide.

Does anyone else feel like Mr. Sobieski is confusing “adopt” with “adapt”?

Trump did gently remind them that the Mexicans don’t look kindly towards those that violate THEIR border.

Yes, we should adopt Mexico’s laws on immigration, including “join political activities even as a legal migrant, get kicked out of the country”, and “we can halt immigration at any time and for any group if demographic balance calls for it”.
