Exactly correct. This is why the left is so passionately committed to the most extreme fringe positions on gender issues. They are not concerned with workable accommodations. The goal is the suppression, eventually even the criminalization, of orthodox Christianity (and Judaism, for that matter), and the destruction of any civil sector institution (schools, hospitals, charities, etc.) that refuses to conform. A new religion is being imposed by force.
