It wasn't someone on Trump's staff who recommended this meeting.
This is pure Trump.

Hi, Rooster! Haven’t checked in with you in a while. Looks like Trump had a success but I’m not tuning into any tv program anytime soon, lol!

Absolutely. It was the kind of masterstroke that only Mr Trump himself could have pulled off.
Whilst Hillary sleeps Trump is travelling abroad working hard to protect the interests of American citizens.
There can be no greater contrast between the candidates.

Last article paragraph:
No matter how inept you think your opponent is, allowing him or her to dominate the news means that if they suddenly do something smart or positive, it will be amplified exponentially. Making matters worse, it's not like Trump pushed to get this meeting all on his own. President Peña Nieto invited both Trump and Clinton to meet with him to discuss immigration, and now it will look sort of like a pathetic game of catch up if Hillary accepts and meets with him second.
Gotta love it. I doubt Killary has the stamina or strength to react. Except to bash Trump some more.

Yep. That's the way it looks to me, too. Trump talks and negotiates like a businessman, not a politician, and the pundits don't comprendé.
One of things that carries weight with me are the people who are loyal to Trump; not hearing much bad coming from people who've worked with/for him. Even Geraldo Rivera, a true-blue horse's patut, defers to Trump. We can see that Trump seeks out excellence in his managers, and I think we'll see that in his cabinet. He even had Krauthammer speaking positively.

Beg to differ with Mr. Novak. Mr. Trump has not flip flopped on anything. His knowledge of this wall meaning so much to the majority of Americans, there will be no flipping done by him. His meeting with Mexico's president is possibly the beginning of a dialogue to bring together the two countries. Both men showed their respect toward the other and though many anti-trumpers do not care to say it: Mr. Trump looked very PRESIDENTIAL standing at his podium alongside. There were no cringes of doubt that he could hold his own...as there has been with prior presidents when doing the same. Mr. Trump was made for the job he faces.

Trump has been given a crucial presidential-looking shot in the arm from perhaps the one foreign leader we least expected to give it to him.
Its one of the tenets of,"The Art of the Deal". Masterful.

These creeps MUST grasp at any opportunity to belittle and negate Trump. It will be really tough for them when they have to call him President Trump.
