Progressives don’t really care about the causes they say they care about. All that they want is power. Dictating what is offensive, creating safe spaces, subverting language and cultural norms are just power plays. They see how far they can push until there is inevitable pushback; however, the pushback is never that strong so they are successful in gradually reengineering society. Because if they “won” it would prove they are no longer needed. When we all had to say “black” instead of “negro” (which is still used in most parts of the world) that should have ended it right? Now “black” is offensive so we have to say “African American.” Now we have to say “People of Color” but is that only for black people or all people except whites? Now it’s “youths” or “teens.”
There was some stupid reporter reporting on “youth” violence in France. She said “African Americans in France.”

You stole my post!! I mean to tell you, you stole the words right out of my brain lol! I’m glad you did cuz yours ended up at the beginning of the thread, and mine wouldn’t have.
The NAACP came to mind for me because I’ve been trying to find a local office on behalf of a black friend of mine whose civil rights were severely violated this week. Turns out, the local chapter closed, because folks found out it was corrupt, did absolutely nothing to help the people in the community and people wouldn’t support them.
PC language is fascism and an end to Freedom of Speech. There was never a protection of obscenity, but ALL other speech is protected-—in our “Justice” (virtue) System.
The Left destroys the meaning of words so they become virtually meaningless like “homosexual marriage” and Right/Left or Liberal or Pride or Rainbow-—so that they can rewrite history for the children—and they will have no concept of Truth (God) or ever be able to have a Christian Worldview (which created the Age of Reason and Modern Sceince.)
Controlling Words, controls the concepts.....Wittgenstein knew that by 1900, and so did Lenin. That is why the communists and socialists have to get TOTAL control of all information———so they can create a generation of tribal minds/serfs/just programmed cogs for the State and corporations who never question anything-—they aren’t allowed to.
Only Classical Christian Education creates people who can literally “think”. They have to know Truth-—real history and understand philosophy so they can employ the brain-—for reasoning. Free Will and Individualism only came from the Christian Worldview.. No other allows Free Will.
But, the Marxists want to program children like Pavlov’s dog—and that is why we have the Prussian system of mass indoctrination (public schools) and why we are in this mess, since parents have allowed our children to be lied to and ruined by perverted “thinking”-—programmed into irrational socialism and Marxism——so that they would be just soulless animals to be culled and managed for life.
